Reportamos la determinación de la estructura electrónica del YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7- d mediante la aproximación de densidad local (LDA) y encontramos los valores de los parámetros que mejor ajustan las bandas. Además, presentamos gráficos de E en función de k, donde se observa un comportamiento acorde con los resultados obtenidos por otros investigadores. Adicionalmente, presentamos resultados, utilizando la teoría DFT (Density Funcitonal Theory) y el FP_LAPW (Full Potencial Linear Augmented Plane Wave method) se ha calculado la densidad de estados para el material YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7- d .

We report the determination of the electronic structure of YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7- d by using the LDA approximation and we found the values of fitting parameters for the band structure. Besides, we show graphics of E as a function of k with a behavior, which is in agreement with results reported by other authors. Results of the density of states by using DFT and PF LAPW are reported.
