Se presentan los resultados de un trabajo de investigación orientado a estudiar, dentro del proceso de aprendizaje, la habilidad que los estudiantes de nivel superior presentan para conceptuar, describir y analizar las explicaciones acerca de situaciones específicas donde se involucra la presión hidrostática, basados en sus concepciones previas (ideas previas). Este trabajo contribuye a la práctica reflexiva de los docentes comprometidos con la problemática de comprensión y enseñanza de fluidos, aspecto que parece estar implícito en el debate de la construcción y transformación conceptual.

Here we present the results of an investigation oriented to study, within the learning process, the ability of conception, description and analysis that the superior level students show in front of some situations related with fluids physics that involve hydrostatic pressure preconceptions (previous ideas) about some of these topics. This work intends to contribute with the reflexive practice of the teachers involved with the science comprehension and teaching, that is a fact that seems to be implicit in the debate of the conceptual construction and transformation in Physics.
