The quality control systems
in agroindustrial scope have had great advances at the present time
due to the coming of techniques of the digital image processing.
The agroindustrial activity of our regional and national surroundings
makes think about the need to implement systems of computer vision
for fruits quality classification and control. The idea of this
work is to show a technique of nondestructive metrology that allows
to provide valuable information of the product. The system is based
on the analysis made on the images taken with illumination and cameras
of operation in the visible spectrum, analyzing the external aspect
of the fruit and making the defect classification according to parameters
of quality control evaluation. Finally, a description of the development
and performance of the computer vision method is presented.
