Se presentan los resultados obtenidos en el crecimiento de películas delgadas de Nitruro de titanio crecidas en fase reactiva sobre sustratos de acero AISI M2, mediante la técnica de magnetrón rf. Los depósitos de TiN fueron realizados a una presión de 10-1mbar en una atmósfera de N2 y Ar, y como parámetro de estudio se toma la potencia incidente sobre el blanco de Ti (99.9). Las películas obtenidas fueron caracterizadas mediante la técnica de difracción de rayos X. El estudio de los difractogramas muestra que a potencias entre 450 y 550 W existen dos planos preferenciales de crecimiento el (111) y el (200) y a potencias entre 750 crece en forma predominante el plano (111).

The presented results are obtained in the growth of thin films of the titanium Nitride of grown in reactive phase on steel substratum AISI M2, by means of the technique of magnetron rf. The deposits of TiN were carried out to a pressure de10-1 mbar in an atmosphere of N2 and Ar, we take as study parameter the incident power on the target of Ti (99.9). The obtained films were characterized by X-rays diffraction. The study of the results shows that to powers between 450 and 550 W two preferential planes of growth exist the (111) and the (200) and to powers among 750 the plane grows in predominant form (111).
