JTC (Joint Transform Correlator), JTC no lineal y 4f.
SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio), OE (Optical Efficiency), DA (Discrimination
Ability

The present work deals with
different kinds of filters, architectures and metrics involved in
the process of digital correlation. The two main architectures are
implemented, that is JTC (Joint Transform Correlator, linear and
non linear) and 4f correlator. Between the variety of filters are:
Optimal Tradeoff filters (OTF), SDFs (Synthetic Discriminant Functions),
with Equal Correlation Peak (ECP), Minimum Variance (MVSDF) and
Minimum Average Correlation Energy (MACE) filters. There are also
trade-off algorithms which lead to obtain trade-off filters between
MACE and MVSDF filters or between the most popular filters used
in scene target detection: matched, only phase and inverse filters.
Among performance metrics are: PCE (Peak to Correlation Energy Ratio),
SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio), OE (Optical Efficiency) and DR (Discrimination
Ratio). |
